All music presented here is solely for the purpose of studying DZ’s markings and using them along with your own, previously purchased, standard edition. Please do not print from this site, or the publishing companies will ask us to take down the page. The markings here may be freely used in your playing and teaching, but remain the property of the Zafer Estate.
We would like to collect an extensive library of violin and viola works that DZ marked with bowings and fingerings that he found “useful” (his word) in his teaching. If you have sheet music with his markings in it we would be very grateful for any that you can send along. One of the easiest methods is the free Genius Scan app for iPhone. When you use it files will be collated and can be labelled and sent as one pdf. Please title all your submissions. Otherwise it becomes a giant music history quiz!
